Financing our Church
The Friends has been a major source of funds for restoration work, which has cost £250,000. Money has been raised from members of the community, special events and a livery company. For further information about how you can help please contact Gillian Lachelin Email
Our beautiful old church costs around £45,000 a year to keep running and to pay our share of the cost of having a priest in the joint benefice. All Saints' is a centre of life in the community particularly as we no longer have a village shop or Post Office.
Apart from contributing to the weekly collection in church, many contribute regularly via the Parish Giving Scheme. Planned giving enables us forecast our financial situation more easily and reclaim Gift Aid very efficiently. (We are able to reclaim tax of 28p in the Pound)
