All Saints', Ockham

All Saints', Ockham is the main place of worship in the parish, and our children's church is based her too. It is a grade I listed church, parts of which date from the 12th century. It has been updated over the years, the most recently addition being a new vestry and toilet with disabled facilities, completed in 2010

St Michael's Chapel dates from the early 19th century and was originally the village bake house. It was consecrated as a chapel in the 1950s. Before that the villages has to walk to St Matthew'c Church at Hatchford (now pulled down).

 

St Michael's has recenty been refurbished and extended and seats about 40 people. It now has central heating, kitchen and toilet facilities.
